Roberta Ann (Spires) Dymek (88), a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on the 11th of October, 2023. Born on the 2nd of August, 1935, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Roberta was a beacon of love, empathy, and generosity, illuminating the lives of those around her with her radiant spirit.
Roberta built a fulfilling life in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, alongside her beloved husband, Alexander Dymek Jr., whom she married on the 16th of June, 1956. A devoted teacher, Roberta nurtured countless minds and shared her passion for learning. An avid reader, she found great joy in the worlds within the pages of books and passed on this love for knowledge to her family and students. As much as she cherished education, Roberta's heart truly belonged to her family. The summers she spent on Cape Cod with her loved ones, particularly the times on Popponesset Beach with her cherished family, were among the most treasured chapters of her life.
In addition to her husband Alexander, Roberta is survived by her two loving sons, Alexander Dymek III and his wife Hong Mei of Nagoya, Japan & David Dymek and his wife Karen of Aptos, CA, her brother, George Spires III of Kingwood, TX. She will be deeply missed by her 5 wonderful grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
