Steven Michael Saball, 67, of Leominster, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2026.
Steven was born to the late Fred C. Saball and Sherry M. Saball. Above all else, Steven loved being a husband, father, and grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and some of his happiest memories were made spending time with those he loved most. He cherished raising his children and creating opportunities for family adventures, activities, and time together. Becoming a grandfather brought him renewed joy and allowed him to experience the wonder of fatherhood all over again. He adored his granddaughters, Vivian and Maxine, and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. Watching them grow brought him immense happiness and became one of the greatest joys of his life.
Steven was a natural people person who found happiness in making others laugh, smile, and feel welcome. He had a generous heart and consistently put the needs of others before his own. Whether helping a friend, supporting a neighbor, or simply sharing a laugh, Steven found fulfillment in making life a little brighter for those around him. His ability to make people feel comfortable, valued, and cared for was one of his greatest gifts.
For more than 40 years, Steven dedicated his career to facilities maintenance and property care. He took great pride in his work and built a reputation for dependability, hard work, and service to others. The residents and families he served were important to him, and he found genuine satisfaction in helping people and solving problems whenever he could.
Steven loved working with his hands and bringing ideas to life. He was constantly building, creating, and improving the spaces around him. He especially enjoyed transforming his yard and home into places where family and friends could gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. His creativity, imagination, and desire to make life enjoyable for others could be seen in everything he built.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Saball; his daughter, Shellie Debarge; his sons, Sean Saball and Travis Saball; his daughter-in-law, Alexandra Agreda; his granddaughters, Vivian Saball and Maxine Saball; his brother, Gary Saball; his sisters, Hollie McGrath, Kathy Saball, and Cindy Saball; his nephew, Vaughn Saball; and his nieces, Garlynn Saball, Breaunna Saball, and Chelsea Saball.
Steven's devotion to family, generous spirit, sense of humor, and ability to make everyone feel welcome will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
