Suzanne L. (Ferdinand) Sullivan, 60, Leominster resident, born in Cambridge, MA, long term resident of Somerville and Medford, MA – passed away July 2, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer.

Suzanne (Sue) was the beloved mother and grandmother of Laurie (Bennett) Cushing, her husband Thomas and their daughters Hannah & Emma of Tampa, FL — James Bennett, his fiancé Marcy Bois and their son Jackson of Fitchburg, MA — and Tracy (Sullivan) Champney, her husband Shannon and their sons Nicholas & Matthew of Clinton, ME.

She is also the loving daughter of Theodore Ferdinand, Sr. and the late Phyllis (Edmunds). Suzanne is also survived by her six siblings and their spouses – Stella Marifiote of Gardner, MA, Phyllis Scurio of Leominster, MA, Rosemary Lyons of Norfolk, MA, Theodore Ferdinand Jr. of Indiana, Robert Ferdinand of Dracut, MA and Edward Ferdinand of Somerville, MA. Beloved aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

Prior to disability, Sue worked as a medical assistant with Harvard Health Care in Medford, MA and later at Fallon Clinic in Leominster MA. An avid reader and doting grandmother, Sue had a heart for helping others. She spent many years volunteering and fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and (for the past 12 years) The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Sue was also a 2009 graduate of Mount Wachusett Community College.
