Theresa L. (Rivard) Allain passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert “Bob” Allain in 2014, enjoying 66 years of marriage. Theresa will be forever loved by her ten children: Judith and her husband Dr. Paul Migliozzi of Fitchburg, Michael Allain of Prince Frederick, MD, Lorraine and her husband James Rines of Ashburnham, Ronald Allain of Stuart, FL, Christine and her husband Michael Borden of Greenfield, NH, Francis Allain and his wife Rita of Hubbardston, Louise Allain of Grafton, Susan and her husband Greg Turner of Derry, NH, James Allain and his wife Kristen of Jefferson, Peter Allain and his wife Lisa of Leominster. Theresa was predeceased by eight brothers: Cpl. Joseph Rivard, Roland Rivard, Lionel Rivard, Armand Rivard, Louis Phillip Rivard, Wilfred Rivard, Francis Rivard, and Joseph Camille Rivard and seven sisters, Alice Rivard, Yvonne Lizotte, Lillian Rivard, Edna Rivard, Sr. Louise Rivard, Aimee Plastridge, and Annette Descoteaux-Giadone. She was born in Fitchburg (1929), a daughter of Joseph and Aurore (Fredette) Rivard, where she lived most of her life, devoting herself to the love and care of her family in a strong Catholic Faith. Mom always had time for us: school work, paper routes, church activities and playtime with our cousins, a whole league of kids! She enjoyed the little leisure she had gardening and landscaping, but her passion in life was helping other people, especially caring for her 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mom/Theresa, we’ll love you forever and forget you never. With love from all your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. We would like to thank the caring and compassionate employees from Sunrise Senior Living in Leominster, The Highlands in Fitchburg, and Beacon Hospice in Leominster. Thank you for making mom feel special and always taking special care of her every want and need. Beacon, we are so grateful for your added assistance for all her needs towards the end of her beautiful life. We will always remember your over and above kindness towards her.
