Thomas Jackson

May 17, 1932 — November 6, 2025

Leominster, MA

Thomas W. Jackson of Leominster, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in Leominster on November 6, 2025. He was 93. Tom was a graduate of the Wharton School at Penn (1954). He was a Naval Aviator who flew on aircraft carriers and briefly held a world record for free-fall parachuting.

He sailed the Caribbean with a boat he retrofitted, and he established businesses in New York City and Boston over a long career. He authored 11 books (Guerrilla Tactics in the Job Market and The Perfect Resume were his two best sellers). He was a guest lecturer at over 400 colleges speaking on job finding and career development. He was passionately curious about the arts and lifelong learning, even establishing a modest career in photography in his 80s.

He leaves behind a family in deep gratitude: his wife of 48 years, Ellen (Elly), his son Christopher of Fitchburg, MA; his son Andrew of Miami Beach, FL, and his grandson, Wesley Jackson of Fitchburg, MA. He has loving extended family members in South Carolina and St, Lous Missouri, Sarasota, and Orlando, FL.

He was a forceful thinker, relentlessly imaginative and courageous, and he leaves behind many who will love him always.
