Thomas Henry Stanley

October 2, 1950 — May 21, 2025

Delray Beach, Florida

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Thomas Henry Stanley, affectionately known as "Stan the Man," "T. Stan," and "Pop." Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 2nd, 1950, Thomas lived a life filled with laughter, ambition, and an unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He departed this world on May 21st, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.

Thomas was a man whose laughter was as infectious as his spirit was indomitable. His quick wit and knack for humor earned him the nickname "Stan the Man," and his loved ones will forever remember his ability to turn any situation into an occasion for joy. His work ethic was remarkable, and he was a self-made man who found immense satisfaction in the paving company he built from the ground up. No matter the challenge, Thomas met it head-on, embodying the verse from Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Thomas' life was a testament to his deep love for Jesus and his family. He found solace and strength in his Bible, which he read regularly. His days were filled with the music he adored, the dances he couldn't resist, and the family he held so dear. His wife, Annabelle, was his world, and his children and grandchildren were his most cherished treasures. The joy he found in their company was palpable, and the bonds he forged with them were unbreakable.

Thomas' memory will live on in those who survive him: his loving wife Annabelle; his children Jennie Stanley-Miller, Thomas (Jane) Stanley, Debra Stanley, and Joe Stanley; his grandchildren Daisy, Jason (Diane), Annabelle, Thomas, Billy, Goldie, Angelica, Carrie, Debbie, Faye, and Savannah; his great-grandchildren; his siblings Joseph (Linda) Stanley, William (Karen) Stanley, Cornelius (Tracy) Stanley, Pheobe (Valentine) Miller, Jill (Norman) Boulanger, and Linda Oja; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Thomas now rests with those who preceded him in death, including his parents Daisy and Thomas Stanley, his siblings James (Shelly) Stanley, Henry Stanley, George Stanley, Daisy Stanley, and Dorothy Stanley, and his son-in-law Jason Miller.

We invite you to celebrate Thomas' life by sharing your memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page at www.barndonfuneral.com. Each contribution will serve as a comforting reminder of the laughter, ambition, and dedication that defined Thomas' life.

We bid farewell to a man whose love and humor enriched our lives and left us better for having known him. Rest in peace, beloved Thomas, until we meet again.
