Calling hours are Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. Burial is private in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gabriel O. Ramos Scholarship Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
FITCHBURG – Valentin G. Ramos, 26, died Friday, August 31, 2018.
He was born July 31, 1992, in Worcester, the son of Valentin and Abigail (Torres) Ramos. He was a 2011 graduate of Gardner High School, where he played football and lacrosse. He completed the carpentry program through Jobs Corps at Devens in 2014. He worked as a carpenter, a salesman at Verizon and T Mobile and most recently as a salesman at Ron Bouchard Nissan and Colonial Chevrolet.
He enjoyed playing deck hockey, pond hockey, fishing, photography and 4 wheeling. He loved working with his hands and his cars. He loved his family and spending time with them.
He leaves his mother, Abigail Ramos of Leominster, his father, Valentin Ramos and his wife, Monica, of Fitchburg, a son, Gabriel Ramos, the mother of his son, Nahomin Serrano of Fitchburg, brother, Victor Ramos of Fitchburg, sister, Valerie Ramos of CO, paternal grandparents, Valentin and Lillian Santana of Worcester, aunt, Ruth Torres of Worcester, two uncles, Varry Ramos and Luis Delgado, both of Worcester. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ernesto and Carmen Velez-Torres.
