Valentine Stanley Miller, Sr.

Valentine Stanley Miller Sr, 68, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. 

Valentine was born on February 28, 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts. He dedicated many years to his career as a paver, while always putting his family first. He was known for being a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loving friend. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and selfless heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Phoebe; his children Neil and Betsy; his 6 grandchildren Isabel, Christine, Phoebe Jane, Mackenzie, Jack, and Lucky; and many extended family members. 

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Avery Miller Sr, and Mary Beatrice Miller, as well as his 3 beautiful children, Christine, Valentine Jr, and Jack; and his grandson Robert Jr.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing his love will remain with us forever.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Valentine’s life during Visiting Hours at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA on Friday, July 31st from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 12:00 pm at Brandon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster, MA.
