We are here to joyfully and lovingly remember the life of a woman who was more resilient than a rubber band and with a heart larger than her extensive collection of coloring books. Vanessa Jacquez, affectionately known by her friends and family as Cha Cha, Ness, Sissy, Shush, Nessa, Twin, Shasha, and many more, was a beacon of love and creativity to all who knew her. Born in the quaint town of Peterborough, NH, on the 26th of March, 1991, Vanessa spent her time gracing us with her infectious humor, inspiring all of us with her strength and resilience, and leaving us with an abundance of colorful memories.

Vanessa was not just a stay-at-home mom, but the CEO of her own home, a position she held with pride, dedication, and a touch of her signature quirkiness. She was a master at turning the mundane into magical. Whether it was turning a simple meal into a culinary feast, or turning a bedtime story into a grand, mythical adventure, Vanessa was a testament to the power of creativity. She had a love for puzzles, joking, and spending time with her mom, watching her kids grow, and she frequented the Club House in Fitchburg, where she was known to bring life and laughter to any gathering.

Vanessa's love for her family was as deep as the ocean and as wide as the sky. She is survived by her two beloved children, Analise Roman and Mateo Roman, who were her greatest pride and joy. She also leaves behind a loving cadre of family, including her twin sister, Marissa Jacquez; brothers Julian JR, Christian Sanchez, Stephen Sanchez, and Jon Jacquez; sisters Miranda Osorio, Esmerlda Jacquez, and Julianna Jacquez; her father Julian Jacquez and his wife, Sonia; her doting mother, Gwen Martin; her boyfriend, Edwin Roman; her aunt Sheila Neff and her husband Scott; her aunt Penny Mauch; her niece Yailis Torres; her nephew Yavian Torres; and her cousins Jacob Breau and Amanda Breau.

She now joins her grandmother Marie Lussier, second cousin Travis Breau, and great aunt Nancy Booth, who preceded her in death. As we remember Vanessa, let us keep the words from Philippians 4:8 in our hearts: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Vanessa embodied all these things and more.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Vanessa for a period of visitation on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Brandon Funeral Home, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. An in-house funeral service will take place promptly at 6:00 pm.
