A calling hour will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg on Monday, September 20, from 10-11:30am. A prayer service will be held at 11:30. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Ashburnham – William F. Valiton, III, passed away on September 10, 2021.
He was born in Fitchburg on September 3, 1958, a son of the late William F. Valiton Jr. and Joan (Downes) MaGaw. William was the owner and operator of Vals Construction Company for many years. He was always such a hard worker and was truly a generous man.
He loved music and was a talented guitar player. William enjoyed classic cars and motorcycles, and enjoyed taking rides on his Harley. Always meticulous in appearance, it was a common sight for William to be tidying the house and ironing his clothes. The most important aspect of William’s life was his family; he treasured the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his daughter Vanessa Bettencourt and her husband Matthew; grandson Tyler Bettencourt; sisters, Susan Weymouth, Vicki Kennedy, and Sandy Hachey; many nieces and nephews.
William was predeceased by his wife Cynthia (Bowser) Valiton and his sister Bonnie Brennan.
