Yvonne (Lemay) Champagne, 92, died Friday, April 18, 2025, at her home, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She was the wife of 64 years, to the late Roger Champagne. She is survived by her three daughters, Joanne Faucher and her husband, Ray, Helen Tisdale, and Brian Tisdale, and Lisa Champagne and her husband Glenn Durand, and her son, Joseph Champagne, and his wife Heidi, Her fourteen grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy, Jacob, LeeAnn, Jonathan, Michael, Caitlyn, Emily, Annalisa, Rebecca, Luke, Tyler, Savanna, and Sierra, and16 great-grandchildren. Yvonne is predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Piche and Lorrie Charpentier
As well as being a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, she was a dedicated 2nd Grade teacher for 22 years in Greenville, NH. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
She had many talents, including growing beautiful plants and flowers for St. Cecilia's fair and knitting hats for the homeless. She was an excellent seamstress, a wonderful cook and baker, and enjoyed a variety of crafts. But above all, she loved and cared for her family. She especially cherished being a part of all family celebrations. And they will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420. Her funeral will follow at Noon in St. Cecilia's Church, 170 Mechanic Street, Leominster, MA, which will be followed by her burial at St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster, MA
