Boston – Zachary Joseph Peterson, 25, of Boston, passed away after a hard fought battle with addiction.
Zachary was born in Leominster on October 13, 1995, a son of Daniel John Peterson of Winchendon and Christine Jaillet of Gardner. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Sabrina L. Peterson, her son Greyson Cole Yarnell and her partner John Yarnell of Lunenburg; sister Danielle C. Peterson of Winchendon; sister Chloe Peterson; brother Connor Peterson, and their mother Kara Beaulac of Fitchburg. Zachary leaves his extended family of aunts, uncles, grandparents, godparents, and cousins. He also leaves behind Keith, Tiffany, and Gabby Abare, who have been a constant support in his life throughout the years.
Zachary lived in the moment most of his life and had a charismatic way of getting what he wanted. During his childhood he played Street Hockey, and spent a lot of time with his dad in hockey tournaments.
He attended Fitchburg High School, where he ran track, played golf and volleyball and had the smarts to do anything and be anything. In the last few years, Zachary was a Personal Trainer and loved his job. He was extremely close to his sisters, Sabrina and Danielle and spent time recently visiting his newborn nephew. Zachary was also a loving and caring big brother to Chloe and Connor.
He grew up riding motorcycles and playing in the woods with his cousins, Cody and Chad; he loved the outdoors. Zachary had a heart of gold and made everyone laugh, he was an angel and a terror all in one. Zachary’s biggest demon was himself, even with all the love and support from his family and friends. Rest easy, Zac – you can now fly with the angels.
